VCE English- Newsletter- Term 4 – Week 5

The Year 11 and 12 VCE students are currently in the process of preparing for their final Unit 3 and 4 exams. They have been studying hard and after months of study and learning various texts and terminology, it has finally culminated in their last exam.

Year 12 VCE English students will be commencing their English exam on Wednesday 30th October. We are all equally nervous and excited for them but they have been well prepared and should do well.

The current Year 11 VCE English students will be completing their Unit 3 and 4 subjects and then returning to school to prepare for their final English exam for 2019. The central focus for this term will be the Comparative Analysis of Texts and the Analysis of Argument and Language. The students have recently completed their last English Outcome which focused on the Comparative Analysis of Texts.

As the year has progressed the students have developed their skills in reading, writing and speaking. They have worked very hard and we are all very proud of their achievements in this subject for 2019.

We wish the graduating Year 12 students for 2019 the very best wishes for the future!
